#9. REMOVING ENCLOSURE FILTERS / LEAVING ENCLOSURE DOORS OPEN
Conductive dust, inside the cabinet and on the controller, will significantly shorten the life of the SCR and electronics. We strongly recommend using cabinet filters to reduce the potential for dust contamination of the electronics. These filters should be regularly maintained to be most effective.
#10. OVER-SIZING THE SCR CONTROLLER
Control Concepts flat-rates our SCR Power Controllers for the full frame current at 50˚C and 6000 ft altitude. Over-sizing the controller results in additional costs for the controller and the enclosure. Talk with our engineersabout the best sizing options for your application before making a purchase.
